ISLAMABAD: Weather forecasters have made an important prediction regarding the Shawwal moon.
The Meteorological Department has said that there is no possibility of the Shawwal moon being sighted on the evening of the 29th fast this year and there will be a full 30 fasts of Ramadan this year.
Weather forecasters say that the chances of the Shawwal moon being sighted on March 19 are negligible. The moon will be born at 6:23 am on March 19.
Accordingly, the age of the moon at sunset will be between 12 and 13 hours.
The Meteorological Department has said that the age of the moon will be 12 to 13 hours, which is not suitable for sighting. It is not possible to see a moon of such an age with the naked eye or even with a telescope.
The announcement clarified that there is no possibility of sighting the moon on March 19, so Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to fall on Saturday, March 21, so the final announcement regarding the sighting of the Shawwal moon will be made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
Sources say that a meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be held on the evening of March 19 to sight the Shawwal moon, which will be chaired by Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, while meetings of the zonal committees will also be held in the district offices. The final announcement regarding the Shawwal moon will be made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
