PESHAWAR: A meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has been called in Peshawar on February 18 to sight the Ramazan moon.
The meeting of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be chaired by Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, while the Zonal Committee meetings will also be held on February 18.
On the other hand, according to the spokesperson of Suparco, the Ramazan moon can be seen with the human eye on the evening of February 18, and the first fast in Pakistan is likely to be on February 19.
According to Suparco, the new moon of Ramazan will appear on February 17 at 5:15 PM. At sunset on February 18, the moon will be about 25 hours and 48 minutes old.
