RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Police has registered a second case under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016.
The case was registered at the Cantonment police station on the complaint of Traffic Warden Imran Sikandar.
According to the FIR, the suspect took a picture of the illegally parked vehicle and shared the video on social media.
Officials confirmed that a traffic violation ticket has already been issued as per the law.
The report further said that the vehicle was parked outside a shop, and the shop owner recorded the video.
He allegedly posted it online to incite public anger and hostility against the traffic police.
Law enforcement officials say that the act is a punishable offence under PECA 2016.
