Remote-controlled bomb targets DC Kech squad in Turbat, 8 injured

TURBAT: In Turbat, a remote-controlled bomb attack on the squad of Deputy Commissioner Kech Major (retd) Bashir Ahmed injured 8 people, including 5 Levies Force personnel.

According to the police, the squad of the Deputy Commissioner was passing through Turbat Press Club Road when the bomb was planted in a motorcycle. The explosion was detonated remotely, DC Kech escaped unhurt.

A vehicle of the squad was severely damaged in the explosion. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. After the explosion, security forces cordoned off the area.
