Security forces foil terrorist attack on Bannu Cantt

BANNU: A swift response of Security forces has thwarted a terrorist attack on Bannu Cantonment early in the wee hours of Monday.

According to sources, the incident occurred at approximately 4:40 am when terrorists attempted to enter the Cantt by detonating an explosive-laden vehicle on the road situated between the outer wall of Bannu Cantt and the supply depot.

As per reports, the blast caused significant damage to nearby buildings, and several people were injured due to the roof collapse.

According to the initial details, three TTP militants including 2 suicide bombers have been killed as terrorists launched a daring attack on Bannu Cantt early this morning.

A clearance operation has been launched to ensure the area is secure and the terrorists have been cornered.
