Security forces kill 30 militants in operations across KP: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: 30 terrorists of the Indian-backed Fitna-ul-Khawarij were killed in operations by security forces in Kurram, Mohmand, and Lakki Marwat districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted a targeted operation in the Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on information about the presence of Khawarij and effectively targeted the Khawarij position.

The ISPR said that 23 terrorists of the Indian-backed Fitna-ul-Khawarij were killed in two separate operations by security forces.

According to the ISPR, 12 Khawarij were killed in an intense exchange of fire in one operation in Kurram, while 11 Khawarij were killed in another operation based on intelligence.

According to the ISPR, 4 terrorists of the Fitna-ul-Khawarij were killed in operations in Mohmand, 2 in an exchange of fire in Lakki Marwat, while a foreign terrorist was killed in a tank.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi have paid tribute to the security forces for the successful operations.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the war will continue until the complete eradication of the menace of terrorism from the country.
