Security forces neutralized five khwarijs in three different IBO: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: The security forces have successfully neutralized five khwarijs and apprehended two in three different intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province on 30 April & 1 May 2025. According to a press release by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The first IBO was conducted in Bajaur District, on the reported presence of khwarij. During the shootout, three Khwarij, including a High Value Target (HVT) Kharji Fareed Ullah, were shot dead.

In another IBO, in the Dossali area of North Waziristan District, two Khwarij were effectively neutralised by the security forces.

Moreover, the last operation was carried out in Mohmand District, where the security forces busted a kharji hideout and apprehended two khwarij, including HVT Kharji Lal Ameer alias Ibrahim, the press release said.

Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from these khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities.

Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country, said the press release.
