Seven BLA militants neutralized in district Ziarat

ZIARAT: Seven terrorists were killed in a furious exchange of fire between Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel, security forces, and armed militants near Choutair in Ziarat on Tuesday. According to media reports

The terrorists killed were members of the outlawed militant group Baloch Liberation Army (BLA). According to CTD authorities,

The operation was carried out based on genuine intelligence indicating the existence of militants participating in numerous terrorist acts.

CTD sources stated that heavy weapons were retrieved from the dead terrorists during the operation.

Earlier, during an intense shootout, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD)  killed two terrorists hailing from the banned organization in Quetta on Monday, according to media reports.

The intense fire between the law enforcement agency and the militants lasted for an hour in the Darakhshan area of Quetta.

CTD has recovered suicide jackets and arms, and ammunition from the terrorists after the encounter.

According to CTD sources, these militants were planning a heinous attack in the city, which was now busted by the immediate CTD operation.
