Seven terrorists killed in IBO in KP’s Kurram district: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Seven terrorists were killed in Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), according to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday.

In a press release issued by the media wing of the army, it was said that during the operation, its own troops searched the whereabouts of the Khawarij in an effective manner, as a result of which seven Khawarij of Fitna Al Khawarij were sent to hell, while among them five were injured.

It added that Khawarij hideout was also busted, and huge quantity of arms, ammunition and explosives were recovered.

The press release said that terrorists have been active in several attacks against security forces and innocent civilians.

The press release added that a sanitization operation is underway to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area, as Pakistan’s security forces are determined to eliminate the threat of terrorism from the country.
