Shandar Mobile owners arrested for fraud in Jhelum

JHELUM: The owners of Shandar Mobiles, famous as Butt Brothers on the Social Media Platform TikTok, were arrested on charges of fraud with a customer in Jhelum.

The First Information Report (FIR) was lodged at City Police Station, Jhelum under Section 379/420 of the Pakistan Panel Code.

According to the details, the local court has sent the owners of Shandar Mobile, Arbaz Butt and Taimoor Butt, on four-day physical remand.

 

The complaint alleged that Shandar Mobiles sold a defective mobile phone and later stole it from the customer when he returned to the shop for a refund.

According to the FIR, complainant Syed Ibrar Shah argued that he bought a mobile phone worth 300000 from Shandar Mobiles and later arriving at his home he checked the phone which turned out to be a defective piece.

According to the complaint, the next day he came back to Shandar Mobile with a defective mobile phone and a receipt for a refund. Owners of the shop, Arbaz Butt and Taimoor Butt tricked the complainant and stole both the phone and receipt from him somehow, the FIR said.
