NEW YORK (Rizwan Abbasi) – Federal Minister for Information, Atta Tarar, has hailed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s efforts in steering Pakistan’s foreign policy in the right direction, marking the end of the country’s global isolation.

Speaking exclusively to Ausaf and ABN, Tarar emphasized that since 2018, Pakistan faced significant diplomatic challenges, straining ties with both its Western and Eastern allies. Accusations of a U.S. conspiracy and concerns over CPEC had placed Pakistan in a precarious position on the international stage. However, the situation has drastically improved under Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership.

Tarar highlighted substantial progress in restoring relationships with key allied nations, emphasizing that “Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts have achieved remarkable success.” He further noted that negotiations with the IMF have seen significant improvements, bringing Pakistan’s inflation rate down to single digits, a feat acknowledged by global financial powerhouse, Bloomberg, which has praised the country’s economic policies.

In discussing Pakistan’s fight against terrorism, Tarar lauded the nation’s immense sacrifices and stressed that cooperation with friendly countries is at an all-time high. He also condemned Israel’s actions, holding it responsible for the genocide in Palestine, stating that resolving the Palestinian issue is crucial for global stability.

Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, speaking at the United Nations Future Summit, urged the international community to ease the debt burdens on developing countries. He made it clear that global peace cannot be achieved without addressing the plight of the Palestinian people.

With Shehbaz Sharif leading the Pakistani delegation in meetings with global leaders, Pakistan is once again emerging on the world stage, offering new hope and direction for the future.
