Sindh Assembly approves budget for FY 2024-25

KARACHI: The Sindh Assembly formally approved the budget for the financial year 2024-25 here on Friday, with a total amount of Rs 3,056 trillion.

The Finance Bill, which is crucial for outlining the fiscal framework for the coming year, was tabled and passed by a majority vote despite objections from opposition members in the assembly.

During the session, opposition lawmakers protested and raised slogans against the passage of the finance bill for the financial year 2024-25, demanding that the bill be passed in a phased manner.
