Sindh declares May 1 public holiday on Labour Day

KARACHI: The Government of Sindh has officially announced May 1 as a public holiday on the occasion of International Labour Day.

According to a notification issued by the provincial authorities, Friday, May 1 will be observed as a public holiday across Sindh.

The day is commemorated globally as Labour Day, honoring the contributions and rights of workers.

All government offices, educational institutions, and public departments in the province will remain closed, in line with the official announcement.
