Sindh govt announces holiday for educational institutions on Youm-e-Ali (RA) on March 22

KARACHI: The School Education and Literacy Department Sindh has declared a public holiday in all educational institutions across the province on March 22 (21st Ramadan) on Youm-e-Hazrat Ali (RA), here on Tuesday.

A notification issued by Deputy Secretary Ashraf Hussain Ansari confirmed that all government and private schools and colleges in Sindh will remain closed on this occasion.

The decision is in line with the martyrdom day of Hazrat Ali, the fourth caliph of Islam.

The announcement applies to both government and private institutions, ensuring uniform observance of the day across Sindh.
