KARACHI: In a notable decision, the Sindh government on Monday increased the age limit for new employees by two years, from 28 to 30 years.
According to the Sindh Education Department, this age relaxation applies specifically to new recruitments of monitoring officers and early childhood teachers.
The Sindh Education Department has issued an official notification formalizing the provincial government’s decision.
The government recently announced recruitment for these positions, and the recruitment process is already underway.
Earlier, the age limit was set at 43 years, but the court overturned the decision and reduced the limit to 28 years.
With this amendment, candidates now have the age limit of 30 years to apply for these roles.
