Gold prices soar Rs500 per tola in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: On Monday, the price of gold in Pakistan’s local market increased with the increase in global prices.

According to data shared by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs 500 to Rs 282,900.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 429 to Rs 242,541.

The price of precious metals also increased in the international market, where the per ounce rate increased by $ 5 to close at $ 2,708.

Meanwhile, the price of silver in the local market decreased slightly, where the price per tola decreased by Rs 9 to close at Rs 3,372, while the price of 10 grams decreased by Rs 8 to close at Rs 2,890.

On Saturday, the price of gold recorded a downward trend and the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs 200 to reach Rs 282,400.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs 170 and the new price became Rs 242,112.
