Six Khwarij eliminated in separate KP IBOs: ISPR

RAWALPINI: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said security forces killed six Khwarij in two intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province late on Sunday night.

Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Dosali district of North Waziristan. During the operation, the security forces searched the whereabouts of the Khawarij in an effective manner, as a result of which a Khwarij named Ahmed Shah alias Intizar was killed.

“In another IBO, the movement of a group of Khawarij, who were trying to infiltrate through the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, was intercepted by the security forces in the general area of ​​Khamrang district of South Waziristan. Their troops effectively Their infiltration attempt was foiled, the ISPR said, resulting in the death of 5 Khawarij, while three were injured.

It added that Pakistan has been continuously asking the interim Afghan government to ensure effective border management along the border. It is expected that the Interim Afghan Government will fulfill its responsibilities and deny the use of Afghan soil by the Kharijites to continue their terrorist activities against Pakistan.

“Pakistan’s security forces are determined and determined to secure its borders and eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country,” the statement said.

Earlier on October 30, Pakistan’s security forces killed eight Khwarij in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while three Pakistan Army personnel, including a major, were martyred.
