ISLAMABAD: The Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) plays an important role in the verification and authentication of all citizens in the records of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).

The CNIC number, also known as the 13-digit unique number, is prominently displayed on the identity document.

This number is linked to essential information, including date of birth, demographic data, residential details, and biometric details.

In recent years, CNIC has become the primary means of identity verification in Pakistan.

Each individual is assigned a unique number, and data is stored securely, allowing easy access to government schemes and welfare benefits.

Nadra Smart CNIC Fee Structure

The regular fee for the new Smart National Identity Card in October is Rs 750. For quick processing, the fee is Rs 1,500, while the executive category is currently Rs 2,500.
