Islamabad weather forecast: PMD predicts rains in twin cities from tonight

ISLAMABAD: Intermittent rains are forecast in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and some parts of Pakistan on Tuesday night and Wednesday.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave is prevailing over western and upper parts of Pakistan.

In these weather conditions, rain is predicted in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Upper Punjab and Gilgit-Baltistan on Tuesday night.

Weather is likely to remain dry and hot in most parts of the country on Wednesday. However, there may be rain in the twin cities of Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The maximum temperature in Islamabad is expected to be between 28 and 30 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and between 29 and 31 degrees Celsius on Thursday.

Rawalpindi’s maximum temperature is expected to be between 28 and 30 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and 29 and 31 degrees Celsius on Thursday.

Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, there was rain in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

Gilgit-Baltistan: Gilgit, Gupis, Bagrote, Hunza 04, Astore 02, Bunji 01

Kashmir: Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot 04

Nawabshah and Chhor remained the hottest places in Pakistan where the maximum temperature was recorded at 41°C. Maximum temperature in Mithi was recorded at 40°C.

In Islamabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 29°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 71 per cent.

In Rawalpindi, maximum temperature was recorded at 29°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 48 per cent.
