SSGCL managing director Imran Maniar resigns, board accepts decision

LAHORE: The Board of Directors at Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL) has accepted the resignation of Imran Maniar, who stepped down as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of SSGCL.

In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday, SSGCL announced that the board had convened an emergency meeting on September 2 to consider Maniar’s resignation.

The board respected Maniar’s decision to explore new opportunities and acknowledged his substantial contributions to the company during his tenure. The notice expressed gratitude for Maniar’s dedicated service to SSGCL.

The company further notified that Mr. Maniar’s final day with the company would be September 13, 2024.
