Summer vacations announced in federal educational institutions

ISLAMABAD: After the four provinces, summer vacations have also been announced in federal government educational institutions.

According to a notification issued by the federal government, summer vacations will be held in model schools, colleges and other educational institutions in Islamabad from May 25 to July 31, 2026.

The notification states that federal government educational institutions will reopen on August 3, 2026.

During the holidays in federal government educational institutions, the heads of institutions and administrative staff will perform office work from 9 am to 1 pm.

The notification further states that coaching classes will also be arranged for students of tenth and eleventh grades in June and July.

School repairs, training sessions and other administrative matters will also continue during the holidays.

It should be noted that summer vacations have also been announced in educational institutions in Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
