Terrorist involved in attack on foreign diplomats’ convoy gunned down: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: A terrorist involved in a recent attack on a convoy of foreign dignitaries in Swat was gunned down during a joint intelligence-based operation (IBO), the military’s media wing said in a statement on Saturday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorist was killed during a joint IBO in the Charbagh area of District Swat on the night between October 4-5.

In a statement, ISPR said two terrorists — including Kharji ring leader Atta Ullah [aka] Mehran — were killed after an intense exchange of fire, while another terrorist was arrested.
