GUJARANWALA: A major daylight theft was recorded in Gujranwala, where the thieves snatched away precious pine nuts ( Chilgoza) worth Rs. 3.85 million. That incident happened a few days back, but the CCTV footage of the crime has now been revealed.

In the video, three suspects can be seen carrying six bags of chilgoza pine nuts in broad daylight before running away. After this incident, it was registered at the Model Town Gujranwala police station. An inquiry was also initiated.

But the concerned trader expressed grave concerns about the registered FIR. He argued that the police registered the incident for a mere loss of RS. 350,000, whereas the loss is actually RS. 3.85 million.

He appealed to the authorities to arrest the suspects as soon as possible and retrieve the looted chilgoza pine nuts of great value.
