Tragic road accident in Sialkot, 5 dead

SIALKOT: A speeding car collided with a tractor trolley parked on the roadside on Daska Road near Sialkot.

As a result of the tragic accident, 5 people, including 2 young children, died on the spot, while one person was seriously injured.

According to rescue officials, the accident occurred when the car was going at a very high speed on Daska Road, the driver could not control the vehicle. The uncontrolled car collided head-on with the parked tractor trolley, due to which the vehicle was badly damaged. The collision was so severe that the people in the car did not even get a chance to recover.

Rescue teams reached the spot and started rescue operations and shifted the bodies of the deceased and the injured to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Daska.

The deceased include 3-year-old Azza, 6-year-old Zaman, 38-year-old Salman, 58-year-old Islam and 29-year-old Imran.

According to the police, the accident occurred due to speeding. Further investigation into the incident is underway. After the accident, an atmosphere of mourning prevailed in the area and the locals expressed concern over the increasing accidents on the roads.

The citizens demanded that traffic rules be strictly implemented and action be taken against heavy vehicles parked on the roadside so that the loss of precious lives can be prevented.
