BAJAUR: At least two people were killed including a policeman in two separate blasts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur District on Saturday.
According to the Bajaur District Police Officer (DPO), Waqas Rafeeq, the twin bomb explosions took place in Tehsil Mamund. The first explosion in the Eirab area claimed the life of a citizen, identified as Malik Asghar.
The second blast in the jurisdiction of Loi Police Station resulted in the death of a police constable Ehsanullah, the police official said.
The police have cordoned off the area and launched an investigation. No group claimed responsibility for the attacks.
