UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed reached Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has arrived in Pakistan.

The UAE President was given a grand historic welcome upon his arrival in Pakistan, for which preparations had been completed.

Earlier, as soon as he entered Pakistani territory, Pakistan Air Force fighter jets surrounded the UAE President’s plane and gave an aerial salute.

The Foreign Office spokesperson said that a high-level delegation, including ministers and senior officials, has also come to Pakistan along with the UAE President.

During the visit, bilateral relations and regional and global issues of mutual interest will be discussed.

The spokesperson said that the UAE President’s visit to Pakistan reflects the long-term brotherly and long-standing relations between the two countries. This visit will further strengthen trade, investment, energy, development, and regional stability.

The distinguished guest is scheduled to meet with high-ranking personalities, including President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

A holiday has been declared in Islamabad in view of the visit of the President of the United Arab Emirates to Pakistan.
