ISLAMABAD: A leading Swedish university has announced a scholarship offer for international students, including Pakistani candidates.
The University of Gothenburg has invited applications for the Axel Adler Scholarship for 2026, which pays full tuition fees to international students enrolled in selected bachelor’s and master’s programs.
The scholarship is one of the university’s most competitive scholarship programs, and is available to students who would normally be eligible to pay tuition fees in Sweden.
The university has explained that applying candidates must submit their study application by January 15, 2026, while the deadline for payment of fees is February 2, 2026.
The award is for tuition fees only and the scholarship will be paid directly to the university. Online programs are not eligible for this scholarship, but part-time or distance learning courses are. The University of Gothenburg, founded in 1891, is one of the leading European universities offering high-quality academic, cultural and professional opportunities to international students.
According to the university, the Axel Adler Scholarship aims to support talented candidates who have demonstrated academic excellence and a passion for their chosen discipline.
