Unknown men open fire at Pakistani bowler Naseem Shah’s house

ISLAMABAD: In a tragic incident, unknown men attacked the house of national cricket team fast bowler Naseem Shah, according to police.

Unknown assailants opened fire on a house in Lower Dir late Sunday night, partially damaging the main gate, windows, and a vehicle parked outside.

According to police, a heavy contingent reached the spot immediately after receiving information about the incident. The attackers, however, managed to flee the scene before law enforcement arrived.

Police said the area has been cordoned off, and a search operation has been launched to trace the suspects. So far, five individuals have been taken into custody for questioning.

A case has been registered at the Mirpur Police Station, and operations are underway to arrest the militants involved in the attack, officials confirmed.
