US Iran second round of talks: Who will lead the US delegation?

ISLAMABAD: The US delegation for talks with Iran will be led by Vice President JD Vance, the White House confirmed, adding that Steve Wittkoff and Jared Kushner will also travel to Pakistan.

US President Donald Trump has said that US representatives are going to Islamabad for talks with Iran, while the two-week ceasefire between Iran and the US is set to end in a few days. On the other hand, Iranian Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has said that the US and Iran are still far from a final agreement.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has said that both Iran and the US are willing to continue negotiations to end the war, but differences remain on many points. Iranian President Masoud Peshmerga has said that President Trump cannot deprive Iran of its right to its nuclear program. Pope Leo has once again appealed for peace in the Middle East and urged relevant leaders to find a peaceful solution to the issue.
