US President wants comprehensive deal, not small deal with Iran: JD Vance

US hopes that India’s response to Pahalgam attack doesn’t lead to broader regional conflict: Vance

WASHINGTON: US Vice President JD Vance has said that negotiations with Iran are ongoing, Trump wants comprehensive deal, not small deal with Iran.

The US Vice President said in his address at the University of Georgia that such high-level US-Iran talks have not been held in 49 years, 49 years of mistrust cannot be overcome overnight, the Iranians knew that President Trump sent me in good faith, Trump does not want a small deal, that is why there has been no deal with Iran yet.

JD Vance said that he said in Pakistan that a lot of progress has been made but a comprehensive deal could not be made, the deal should be such that Iran does not acquire nuclear weapons, does not commit state terrorism.

The US Vice President said that Trump wants the Iran deal to be great for America and everyone in the world, the deal should be such that the Iranian people can become part of the global economy, if Iran becomes normal, America will behave like a normal country economically.

He said that he feels better about the position he is in in the negotiations with Iran, and that the ceasefire is intact.
