US launches scholarships to support Pakistani students’ education

ISLAMABAD: US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker gave good news to Pakistani students.

Speaking at private news channel program, US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker said that there is a Fulbright Scholarship program in Pakistan, the Fulbright Scholarship is based on people-to-people relations.

The US Chargé d’Affaires said that under the programs, scholars understand each other’s culture. She said that US scholarship programs are important for Pakistani students, Pakistani students can study in the US.

The US Chargé d’Affaires says that Pakistani students are being supported in the field of education. She said that the US has started scholarship programs for Pakistani students.

US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker said that Pakistani culture is very close to my heart. The northern regions of Pakistan are very beautiful. I want to visit beautiful places including Hunza Ferry Meadows.

She said that she is impressed by Pakistani culture, considers Pakistan as her home, wants to visit northern areas including Hunza, there is potential in the young Pakistani generation.

The US Chargé d’Affaires said that they want to work for the promotion of education in the border areas of Pakistan, work is underway on a project to promote education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
