Viral Video leads to suspension of police officers Involved in BISP scam

JACOBABAD: Two police officials have been suspended after the alleged deduction of the assistance amount of deserving women under the Benazir Income Support Program came to light.

According to reports, two police officials were caught accepting extortion from deserving women in an alleged nexus with device holders, the video of which went viral on social media.

Taking notice of the incident, SSP Jacobabad Faizan Ali took immediate action and suspended both the officials and issued show cause notices. The suspended officials include Hameed Brohi and Gulshan Burro.

SSP Faizan Ali says that deduction of the amount of deserving women under the Benazir Income Support Program will not be tolerated under any circumstances and strict action will be taken against the elements involved in this matter.
