Will Pakistani’s witness Snow Moon tonight?

ISLAMABAD: According to foreign media reports, the moon will appear brighter and larger on the first of February, which has been named ‘Snow Moon‘.

In this regard, the American space research agency, NASA, has reported that the moon will shine with full brightness at 5:09 pm on Sunday, February 1.

It will appear full on the eastern horizon near sunset and will appear orange during this time.

NASA has said that this ‘Snow Moon’, which will start on the night of February 31, will be visible until February 2.

Why is it called Snow Moon

Media reports have said that this moon was named ‘Snow Moon’ due to the heavy snowfall in North America in February.

In some tribes, it is also called the Slate Moon, Wind Moon, and Crow Moon.
