Wrong candidate selection was a major cause of PTI defeat in 1st phase of KP LG election: PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) made mistakes in 1st phase of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Local Government elections and paid the price.

In a statement issued on twitter on Tuesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that wrong candidate selection was a major cause. From now on I will personally be overseeing PTI’s Local Government election strategy in 2nd phase of KP LG elections and Local Government elections across Pakistan. InshaAllah PTI will come out stronger, he said.

From now on I will personally be overseeing PTI’s LG election strategy in 2nd phase of KP LG elections & LG elections across Pak. InshaAllah PTI will come out stronger” PM Imran Khan tweeted.
