Young boy killed while filming TikTok video with weapon in Hussainabad

HYDERABAD: The trend of making videos for social media has claimed another life, where a youth died after being shot while making a TikTok video.

The incident took place within the limits of Hussainabad police station. According to locals, the Shabbir was making a video with a weapon when a bullet suddenly went off, hitting him. He died on the spot as soon as he was shot, causing panic in the area.

As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and after necessary action, the body was shifted to a nearby hospital. Police officials say that various aspects of the incident are being investigated to find out whether it was an accident or due to some other reason.

Locals say that the youth was fond of making dangerous videos to become famous on social media, due to which he ignored precautionary measures.

The police have instructed the citizens to be extremely careful in using weapons and avoid unnecessary exposure.

Parents have also been appealed to monitor the activities of their children to avoid such tragic incidents.

This incident is yet another reminder that the desire for fame on social media can sometimes prove fatal.
