ISLAMABAD: In another development in the high-profile case involving alleged promotion of a gambling app, Aroob Jatoi, wife of popular YouTuber Ducky Bhai, has got her interim bail extended till March 24.

The hearing, presided over by Additional Sessions Judge Mansoor Ali Qureshi, witnessed tense exchanges as the NCCIA investigation officer told the court that Aroob’s mobile phone was crucial for forensic examination. The court allowed forensic analysis, giving a crucial window to the investigation.

Aroob’s lawyer argued that the forensic report could not be ready in a week or two, urging the court to hold the next hearing after Ramadan.

Despite these arguments, the court stressed on strict conditions, Aroob Jatoi must appear in person at the next hearing, and no further exemption from attendance would be allowed under her interim bail.

The case, already under intense public scrutiny due to Ducky Bhai’s celebrity, has now intensified, with all eyes on the forensic findings and the next court date.
