Famous Indian actor dies during treatment after set accident

MUMBAI: Robo Shankar, a well-known actor of India’s Tamil film industry and known for his comic roles, passed away at the age of 46.

According to Indian media, actor Robo Shankar was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai after suddenly collapsing during the shooting of a film. He was shifted to the intensive care unit, but his condition deteriorated further and he died on Thursday.

Doctors say that Robo Shankar had been suffering from various diseases for some time. He had recently recovered from jaundice.

According to doctors, on September 16, he suddenly fainted and collapsed during the shooting of the film, after which he was immediately shifted to a private hospital in Chennai. However, he died on Thursday night.

According to Indian media, a statement issued by the hospital said that Robo Shankar died due to bleeding in the digestive tract and multiple organ failure.

According to Indian media, Robo Shankar was a famous name in the TV and film world. He became famous as “Robo” due to his robot dance while acting in TV shows.

He started working in films in 1997. Initially, he did small roles in several Tamil films, but later he worked in supporting roles and gained fame.
