Pakistani television veteran Fazila Qazi has once again attracted public attention after openly criticizing journalist and television host Iqrar ul Hassan in a recent social media video.
The actress, who is widely recognized for her candid opinions on social and entertainment-related matters, expressed disappointment over what she described as Iqrar ul Hassan’s changing behavior and repeated focus on former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
In her video message, Fazila Qazi said that she had previously believed Iqrar ul Hassan was genuinely committed to helping people through his work. She recalled appearing on his television programs in the past because she trusted his intentions. However, she stated that her perception of the journalist has changed over time.
The actress questioned what she called his excessive attention toward Imran Khan, saying that every discussion appeared to revolve around the former premier. While clarifying that she does not support any political party, Fazila acknowledged Imran Khan’s contributions to Pakistan, including leading the national cricket team to a World Cup victory and supporting the establishment of a cancer hospital that provides treatment to thousands of patients.
Fazila Qazi also criticized the tone used in some of Iqrar ul Hassan’s public commentary. She urged public figures to maintain respectful discourse even when they disagree with others. According to the actress, personal attacks and aggressive language on social media can negatively impact both public conversations and family members associated with those involved.
She further emphasized that individuals should avoid insulting others despite political differences and encouraged a more civil approach to expressing opinions online.
The remarks have sparked debate across social media platforms, with users sharing mixed reactions to Fazila Qazi’s outspoken comments regarding the well-known television host.
