KARACHI: Good news for Pakistanis as they will be able to showcase their talent in a brand-new Pakistan’s Got Talent as the world’s top talent show franchise is set to enter the country soon.

According to the details, Pixel Entertainment has officially signed a groundbreaking deal with global entertainment powerhouse Fremantle to bring the internationally acclaimed Got Talent franchise to Pakistan for the very first time.

“Pakistan’s Got Talent will provide a high-profile platform for individuals across the country, regardless of age, background, or discipline, to showcase their extraordinary abilities,” the company said in a statement.

The platform is known for welcoming any kind of talent, whether it’s singing, dancing, magic, comedy, beatboxing, or anything that amazes the audience.

Nationwide open auditions are set to kick off soon, as Pixel Entertainment has not yet clarified the dates and places for the auditions or details regarding its on-air.

The franchise, created by Simon Cowell and owned by Fremantle, has aired in more than 70 countries and even holds the Guinness World Record for the most successful reality TV format in history.

Now, it’s Pakistan’s turn to put its talent on the global stage with Pakistan’s Got Talent.

This news comes after the revival of Pakistan Idol after a decade. MHL Global recently secured the rights to the show, setting the stage for another round of reality TV nostalgia and new talent discovery.

The auditions for Pakistan Idol are already underway in multiple cities across the country, with the show set to air very soon on Geo TV.
