India's beautiful actress commits suicide
MUMBAI: The atmosphere of the Indian showbiz industry has once again turned into mourning. Actress Nandini CM, who is rapidly emerging in Kannada and Tamil television, was found dead at her residence in Bangalore, which has sent shockwaves through the TV industry.
According to Indian media reports, the police say that evidence found at the scene indicates the possibility of suicide.
A written note has also been recovered from the actress’s room, which has been made part of the investigation.
According to the police, in the note, Nandini CM mentioned severe mental stress due to family pressure, especially on the issue of marriage.
She said that she was not mentally ready for this decision, due to which she was constantly worried and stressed.
The note further states that the long-standing mental conflict had badly affected her mental health. However, the police have clarified that despite the suicide note, the investigation into the incident will continue from all angles and no possibility will be ignored.
Nandini CM was making her mark in the Tamil and Kannada television industry and had recently played an important role in a popular Tamil drama.
As a sad coincidence, her recent Tamil drama Gauri is also being mentioned, in which her character was shown drinking poison, however, authorities have denied that this role has anything to do with her death.
At the time of her death, Nandini was playing the lead role in the drama Gauri, where she was seen in the dual roles of Kannada and Durga, for which she received great appreciation from the audience.
Nandini hailed from Kotor and was based in Bangalore. She also played supporting roles in several popular Kannada TV dramas.
The death of Nandini CM has left the Kannada and Tamil television industries in deep shock. The police are investigating and further details are awaited.
