Ira Khan opens up about body image & self-acceptance

MUMBAI: Bollywood star Aamir Khan‘s daughter Ira Khan has made a bold and honest confession.

On the social networking website, Ira Khan spoke openly about issues related to body image and self-esteem and made a bold and honest confession and said, ‘Yes, I am fat’.

She said that in 2020 she is struggling with issues of obesity, food and accepting myself as I am, I still have a lot to understand.

Ira Khan added that talking about this topic is even more difficult for me than talking about depression, but I consider it necessary.

She said that she has felt misfit, overweight and obese, I am not a patient of any eating disorder nor am I saying all this as an expert, but these are my personal experiences that I have shared.

Aamir Khan’s daughter also said that the purpose of this initiative is not to gain support, but to create an environment for a playful conversation on body image and mental health.

She said that body image issues affect confidence, relationships and professional life, and her relationship with her husband has also been affected because of this.

Iran Khan admitted that she is obese for her age and height, and she rarely finds herself confident while talking about it.
