ISLAMABAD: Online video-sharing platform, YouTube has deleted Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s viral song ‘Bado Badi’ from the platform due to copyright claims.
Self-proclaimed singer Kashif Rana, known by his stage name Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s viral song was removed after it hit over 28M views on different social media platforms including TikTok and Instagram.
Last month, Chahat uploaded his music video “Bado Badi” on his official YouTube channel, which quickly gained immense popularity in Pakistan and across the border.
According to the reports, YouTube has deleted Chahat Fateh Khan’s Bado Badi allegedly due to copyright issues as the legendary singer Noor Jahan owned the original number.
Pakistani singer Noorjehan, aka Malika Taranum, had originally performed the song “Akh Ladi Bado Badi” for the Pakistani film ‘Banarasee Thug’ released in 1973.
