15-member national women’s team announced for Zimbabwe series

LAHORE: A 15-member national women’s squad has been announced for the ODI series against Zimbabwe, which will be led by Fatima Sana.

The three-match series will be played from May 4 to 9 at the National Stadium Karachi, while the matches are scheduled for May 4, 6 and 9.

Sources say that this series is part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025-29.

According to the announcement, Fatima Sana will lead the team in all three ODI matches, while Momina Riyat has been included in the 15-member squad for the first time.

The Zimbabwe women’s team will arrive in Karachi on April 29 for its first tour of Pakistan.

Fatima Sana (captain), Alia Riaz, Ayesha Zafar, Diana Baig, Gul Feroza, Momina Riyat, Muniba Ali (wicketkeeper), Najiha Alvi (wicketkeeper), Nashra Sindhu, Natalia Pervez, Ramin Shamim, Sadaf Shams, Sidra Amin, Aroob Shah and Tasmia Rabab.
