LAHORE: Aleem Dar has resigned from the selection committee of the Pakistan cricket team, according to media reports.
He has submitted his resignation to the PCB authorities. Aleem Dar was made part of the selection committee on October 11, 2024.
The Pakistan team failed to reach the semi-finals in the T20 Cricket World Cup, after which Aleem Dar decided to step down from his responsibilities.
Aqib Javed and Asad Shafiq are now left in the selection committee. With them is data analyst Usman Hashmi, who does not have the right to vote. He only guides the selectors on the performance of the cricketers.
