ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Olympic gold medalist javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem is in full swing with his preparations for the upcoming World Athletics Championships, as his coach and physio have declared him fit and ready to compete for another gold.
At the Punjab Stadium, Lahore, Arshad has been training hard in morning and evening sessions, focusing on physical conditioning, running, and javelin throw practice.
Expressing confidence in his form, his coach Salman Butt and physio Dr Asad Abbas Shah said that the star athlete is not only fit but also determined to perform at his best.
“We are hopeful that Arshad Nadeem will once again bring a gold medal for Pakistan,” they said.
Arshad is set to leave for Tokyo, Japan, on September 9.
He will represent Pakistan at the World Athletics Championships where he will compete on September 17 and 18.
