DUBAI: Pakistan and India will face each other in the final of the Asia Cup Cricket Tournament 2025 in Dubai today.

For the first time in the 41-year history of the Asia Cup, Pakistan and India are going to face each other in the final. Pakistani players are determined to win, while cricket fans are also hoping for a victory for the green shirts.

The national team practiced intensively on Saturday before the final. After the practice, captain Salman Ali Agha said in a press conference that he is hopeful that the team will perform well in the final. They came to win the Asia Cup, and they will win.

India defeated Pakistan in both matches in the Asia Cup 2025, but apart from that, Pakistan has defeated every team in Asia so far.

Pakistan and India have faced each other in the final 5 times in any tournament so far, Pakistan has defeated Pakistan 3 times while India has defeated Pakistan 2 times in the final.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s probable playing XI for the final has been revealed. According to sources, the team that defeated Bangladesh in the final match against India will take the field.

The probable playing XI includes Sahibzada Farhan, Fakhar Zaman, Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, Hussain Talat, Muhammad Haris, Muhammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Abrar Ahmed, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf.
