SYDNEY: Pakistan star batter Babar Azam endured another disappointment in the Big Bash League (BBL), failing to impress in his second match of the tournament.
Playing for the Sydney Sixers against the Adelaide Strikers, Babar managed to score only nine runs. He was dismissed by Luke Wood, with Matthew Short taking the catch.
Babar had also failed in his BBL debut match, where he scored just two runs against the Perth Scorchers.
In that match, the Sydney Sixers suffered a five-wicket defeat.
The back-to-back low scores have raised concerns about Babar Azam’s form at the start of the Big Bash League season.
