LAHORE: Pakistan’s cricket squad is struggling to secure a sole victory against India in the current Asia Cup 2025, having lost two consecutive games.

Lack of experienced players such as Babar Azam and Rizwan from the team left the experimental team doing great, but not good enough to defeat arch-rivals twice.

Under increasing pressure, news is coming in that Star batsman Babar Azam could join the side in the UAE, offering the experience and firepower Pakistan Green Shirts require to reverse their campaign.

Speculation over Pakistan cricket sensation Babar Azam being a part of the national red-ball team in Dubai has been laid to rest. Head coach Azhar Mahmood made it clear on the social media site X that Babar is not present in Dubai but is at a golf course in Lahore.

To ascertain, Mahmood also posted a picture of himself playing golf with the former skipper.

There were rumors on social media that the star batter would be part of the team in Dubai, but Mahmood’s revelation indicates that the batsman is still in Pakistan.
