ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) President Tariq Bugti announced during a press conference that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir has arranged medical cards for the players of the federation in a very pleasant manner.
He thanked the Army Chief for this important support.
He added that soon a hockey academy would be set up in Islamabad with efforts underway to restore the federation to its former glory.
Tariq Bugti stressed that political interference in hockey will no longer be tolerated, urging everyone to respect the integrity of the game.
Despite providing opportunities, he lamented that some conspiratorial elements are harming the national sport.
Bugti also expressed concern that no player from Sindh province is currently part of the Pakistan hockey team.
