DUBAI: While Pakistan and India prepare for their historic Asia Cup 2025 final battle, Dubai Police released an extensive security plan to stage a seamless and secure experience for supporters watching the high-octane contest at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

In consideration of overwhelming interest and the fierce competition between the two countries, officials have issued a series of strict rules with the aim of ensuring order and security within the stadium. Supporters have been requested to be at the ground at least three hours prior to the game in order not to experience delays due to extremely congested traffic, especially at the gates.

Approximately 28,000 fans will be watching tonight’s game, a record high attendance at the tournament that requires a special security plan to ensure the Asia Cup final passes without incident.

In a formal advisory, Dubai Police specified several security procedures that must be adhered to by fans. Entry will be closely controlled, with single-entry tickets being used, such that spectators will not be permitted to return to the stadium after leaving. As part of security provisions, the following products are strictly forbidden:

  • Flammable products
  • Laser pointers and weapons
  • Fireworks and glass products
  • Tripods and selfie sticks

Furthermore, for the sake of avoiding any disruptions, political banners and unplanned placards will not be allowed within the stadium. The fans have been asked by the authorities to fully cooperate with security officials to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

The steps might appear stringent, but they are put in place to maintain the celebratory mood of the event and avoid any untoward incidents, particularly considering the highly charged competition between India and Pakistan.

For cricket lovers, this Asia Cup final is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness a match brimming with drama, emotion, and unrelenting action. Dubai’s security plan is aimed at making that experience seamless and memorable. As the tournament reaches its climax, the atmosphere in the city is expected to be electric, with fans creating a spectacle of their own in the stands.

So, if you are one of the fortunate 28,000 to have bagged a ticket, make sure you stick to the security rules and get ready for possibly the most memorable cricket game of the decade.

The battle between Pakistan and India is going to reach new heights, and you wouldn’t want to miss a single ball of this historic final.
